We are committed to providing a robust assessment strategy that will establish a consistent approach across the whole school, so that students know and have a clear understanding of how their work is marked, assessed and reported on.
Our aim is to ensure that students become independent learners who can take responsibility for their own learning. We believe that self-esteem is a vital part of a student’s readiness to learn. Consequently, it is essential that our students are given credit for their achievements.
The quality of their responses and work must be measured against their level of ability or attainment.
